We try to cope with the pain in our lives through various strategies that only lead us deeper into despair. Well-intentioned counselors give us good advice, but we remain bound. Thomas Gardner:
Thomas Richard Gardner graduated from St. Vincent College in Latrobe PA in 1976 with a degree in Music Education. He came to the Lord in 1978 in a local Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and began a detailed study of the Bible shortly thereafter.

This study included Greek and Old Testament history and Archaeology and two years of private tutoring in Hebrew and Torah as a student of the late Rabbi Herbert Gilner.

Thom also graduated with a Masters of Applied Ministry from Cornerstone Seminary in Harrisonburg , VA and has also taught several courses and seminars there.

Thom has ministered as a Bible teacher or pastor since 1986, and is now President of Grace and Truth Fellowship, Inc.; a ministry dedicated to healing wounded emotions.The mission statement includes training and raising up healing teams throughout the body of Christ.

Thom travels internationally speaking and teaching on spiritual formation and intimacy with God. He has authored several books including Healing the Wounded Heart , Turn Toward Mercy and My Healing Journey.

Thom also works with leaders throughout the body of Christ equipping them to trust one another as a spiritual team. This training includes leading retreats and using his techniques of interactive encounter of the presence of Christ through the scriptures.

Marylyn Dixon:
Marylyn Dixon is a sensitive and anointed healing prayer minister who has been ministering emotional healing as Thom’s associate since 2003. Through her ministry she has seen many others restored to the place of intimacy and rest in Father’s embrace and released into their personal destiny.

Prior to her work with Grace and Truth, Marylyn served in a variety of leadership roles in the body of Christ. She lived and worked among poor and needy people in the Tidewater area of Virginia for six years directing a host of programs for a missions organization. She also worked as Director of Christian Education in two different denominational settings and has served as a women’s retreat speaker.

Coupled with two decades of ministry experience, Marylyn also worked as a Mobile Therapist and Behavior Specialist in the area of mental health. Marylyn has a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Regent University. Above all of her training and experience, Marylyn is a follower of Jesus Christ who brings a wealth of personal experience from her own walk with Jesus which allows her to connect compassionately with those to whom she ministers.
 

Grace and Truth Fellowship:

Exists for the purpose of bringing the healing presence of Jesus Christ to your emotional wounds. Jesus did not teach people to cope with affliction; He healed them. He still does. Through the use of many Christ-centered disciplines we apply biblical truth to bring healing to past wounds and emotional trauma. These past wounds manifest themselves in the present in depression, compulsive behaviors, anger, and addictions of every kind as well as relational difficulties with those around us. There is healing for all of these in the presence of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ was the fullness of Grace and Truth as the scripture says. Grace is the enabling power of God that flows toward our need for healing, and it is the Truth that brings freedom to us. We minister Grace and Truth in the reality of the presence of Jesus Christ, “The One Who was, and is, and is to come.”

Some of us are locked in cycles of generational bondage, but Jesus became a curse for us. Others of us carry the pain of past wounding with us every day, but Jesus took every wound that we have ever suffered upon Himself. The purpose of our ministry is to help you appropriate the healing power of the cross of Jesus Christ and to live a new life in the freedom purchased by His blood.

Part of our ministry is to raise up and equip new healing teams in local churches and to provide resources and additional training to those in the ministry of inner healing. We work along side and are supported by local Churches as they walk beside those who are healed.

Grace and Truth Fellowship does not have a strategy or a religious program to bring you healing. We have the manifest presence of the Lord Jesus Christ Who has all the healing you need. Jesus' reading of the scriptures in Luke's Gospel summarizes the ministry of Grace and Truth.

" THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES, AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED, 19 TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD." Luke 4:18-19
